Last night, April 23rd,  at the 7th annual Battle of the Bands, every single band played incredible and everyone looked incredible, we started second, and were down a man(John our guitarist), we greatly appreciate the fill-ins on guitar, from Ryan Roupp on Limited-Time Offer, Dustin Maneval on Papa John Song, Dom something-Deck on Moo Point, and Evan Fredo on Don't Stop Believin'. The odds of us winning were greatly against us, but we rocked as hard as we could with no guitarist and with a guitarist in a couple of our songs we played. THE PONES overcame those odds and came out with  !st place in Peoples Choice!!! Now What?!

We got some good news and some pretty bad news, that has some ok news to follow. Anyways we will be selling Round 2: Tonight We Strike by Battle of the Bands, also the PoneRising Split cd should be done by the time of Battle of the Bands and the money from the split will go to the PoneRising Tour, and finally we will have a few of the  new t-shirts on sale prices for them to be determined later. On to the bad, bad news,  John will be forced to miss the Battle for a personal reason, but it should be okay, we found a solution, a kid by the name of Dan Wheeland, and if he can't learn on short notice, we may get Dustin Maneval of LongSinceGone, and if he can't do it then Drew and me will rock out for the people with no guitarist, but that is going to be if Plan A or B fail. So, hopefully everything works out for the best. Live it up and keep on rockin'.

Our 2nd album is done and will be on sale very soon, this cd is a big step up from our first cd, and has been titled Round 2: Tonight We Strike. It contains 8 great tracks that almost everyone will enjoy. The cd will hopefully be ready for sale by the beginning of next week, conventionally the same week of Battle of the Bands. Also we have a design for t-shirts and will be printing them off and should have them by Battle of the Bands. Be on the look out for the cd and Be at the battle to see us.

One week from today, The Pones will be back in the studios, recording the 2nd album!! Battle of the Bands is coming up also, and very well may be the official kick-off date of the PONE-RISING TOUR 2004. A split CD may also be in the works...

Well, the snow was well on its way to total meltdown. Until today, it snowed again. Postponing the PONE-RISING tour once again. Sorry.
